Day 2 of the Athena's Playbook program is an upper body workout that involves a series of plank rotations and punches (seriously, am I really going to have to "punch" the air?) Not only that, but I despise planks. We'll see if my butt gets as whooped as yesterday :P
UPDATE: OK, so here's the story about how Day 2 of my program went...
I got home and was so exhausted that I could barely think straight, let alone keep myself from falling asleep. My husband also had the other half of his workout to do, so we did our thang in separate rooms (we get embarrassed if the other person watches). So, I do the workout, which consisted of 16 plank rotations and 80 punches. After I got done, I thought to myself, "wow, that was actually really easy. I didn't even break a sweat!", and even questioned it asking myself if that was really all there was to it for today's workout. I walked over to our bedroom where my husband was working out, and asked if I could pop in to take a shower because I was already done, to which he replied, "there's no way you're already done." And I said, "yea I am. All I had to do was plank rotations and punches." He was still in disbelief, and later when he came up to me after his workout, he questioned me again, saying that there was no way I could have done it that fast because he had less to do than me and was still going when I came to tell him I was finished. He then said, "did you do all 3 sets?" And then I had that "oh shit!" moment in my mind, but I had to keep my cool, so I said, "yea, I did all 3!" knowing damn well somehow in my fog of exhaustion I totally forgot to do the other 2 sets! I was too proud to admit it so I kept up my front. I still had to do some convincing, some of which included showing my husband I knew how to do a plank rotation, because he didn't believe I knew how. I think he knows I am full of shit though, because later he texted me saying: "You're already falling off the rails. You're so annoying."
bahahaha
Day Two - Sort of down (not even half-way down)
