For the next 30 days, I will be doing workout routines from Darebee.com's Athena Playbook. My husband is actually the one who found this program for me. He knows if he left it up to me to find a workout routine, I'd never find one :P I like this one because it has a little bit of everything, though it mainly focuses on the lower body, which for me, fits my purposes. If you haven't checked out Darebee.com, I highly recommend it. If you're like me, you get really overwhelmed with trying to put together a workout routine/schedule on your own. Darebee has literally hundreds of different workouts to choose from, and several workout programs to follow, as well as daily challenges. If you're interested in building a better diet to go with your workout, they also have meal plans, recipes, and nutritional info on their site.

UPDATE: Fuck you, Athena. Seriously. I got through the 3 sets of hell, but all it did was make me painfully (and I mean painfully) aware of how out of shape I am. And mind you, 3 sets is the beginner level :( You can see what I had to do for Day 1 in the graphic above. It doesn't seem too difficult or physically straining, but when you are like me and spend your nights making the tough decision of using your doughy legs to get out of the bed to use it or just hold it until the morning because you're too lazy and would rather torture yourself than give yourself sweet relief, then yea, this workout will kick your dimpled ass. I literally was complaining of dying barely 2 sets in. I think our dog hates burpees as much as I do, because every time the burpee part would come, he would lunge and growl and bark at me. Almost as if he was saying, "Stoppit, Mom! You're embarrassing me! You look ridiculous!" I was secretly fighting back tears from his cruel judgements. He better get his shit together or he is NOT coming with us on my birthday getaway next month.
